We’ve always believed that building a sustainable energy future means growing alongside the people and organizations we serve. Today, we’re proud to share three powerful steps forward—each one designed to deepen our impact, expand our service, and deliver even greater value to our clients and partners.
1. Recognized Again as One of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies
It’s official—Lightenco has once again been named one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail. This marks our third time receiving this national recognition, and while the award celebrates our momentum, it’s really about something much deeper.
Our continued growth is rooted in the trust our clients place in us every day. They rely on us to help navigate the complex challenges of sustainable energy management—from reducing operational costs to meeting environmental goals—and we take that responsibility seriously.
Each project we undertake is powered by a simple but profound commitment: to make a meaningful difference. Whether we’re upgrading lighting in a condo tower, installing EV chargers for a hotel chain, or guiding a solar solution for a manufacturing facility, our goal is always the same—helping organizations thrive through smarter, more sustainable energy use.
We’re honoured by this recognition and more energized than ever for what’s ahead.
2. Launching Lightenco Electrical Contractors
Sustainable energy doesn’t stop at lighting, solar, or EV infrastructure—it needs a strong electrical backbone. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Lightenco Electrical Contractors, a full-service commercial electrical company designed to serve clients across the full spectrum of their electrical needs.
This has been a long-standing vision for us. And now, with the right partners in place—including Master Electricians Paul Smith and George Raiu—we’re proud to bring it to life.
Lightenco Electrical Contractors offers services ranging from tenant fit-outs to infrared scanning to capacitor banks—fully integrated with our existing energy and lighting services. This allows us to move faster, be more competitive, and offer our clients a seamless experience from concept to completion.
If you’ve worked with us before, you’ll recognize the same values at play: trusted expertise, deep collaboration, and a relentless commitment to doing the job right.
3. Instant Discounts Just Got Bigger (But Not for Long)
The only thing better than saving energy is saving money while doing it. That’s why we’re excited to share a major update to Ontario’s energy incentive programs.
In certain areas of Ottawa, energy-saving incentives have just doubled—but only for a limited time.
These are instant, upfront discounts, meaning clients can receive substantial savings on their projects right away. Whether it’s a lighting retrofit or a broader electrical upgrade, these enhanced incentives can significantly reduce costs while accelerating your sustainability goals.
But there’s a catch: the window is tight. These doubled incentives are only available for the next three months, and only in specific zones within the city.
Our team has extensive experience identifying and securing energy incentives across all our service areas. If you’re thinking about a project—or even just starting to explore one—now is the time to talk with us. We’ll help you move quickly, confidently, and cost-effectively.
Looking Ahead
Growth milestones like these don’t happen in isolation. They are made possible by the trust and confidence of our clients, the hard work of our team, and the strength of the partnerships we’ve built along the way.
We’re grateful.
We also know that the work is far from over. Energy systems are evolving. Expectations are rising. And the need for sustainable, intelligent infrastructure has never been greater.
That’s why we’re continuing to invest—in people, in partnerships, and in the capabilities that help our clients succeed.
So whether you’re working on a new build, a retrofit, a system upgrade, or a strategic plan to meet sustainability targets, we’re here to help—with more services, deeper integration, and even stronger capacity.
Here’s to building what’s next.
